Emily graduated with an Associates of Applied Science in physical therapist assistant from Walters State Community College.

On rotations in school, she worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings with conditions ranging from joint replacements to neuro rehab. She also enjoys working with all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics.

“I became interested in the field of physical therapy as a career when 3 of my siblings had surgeries in high school for sports related injuries. At each of their sessions, I was inspired by how the PT’s and PTA’s cheered them on and helped them in a fast recovery/return to their sports”

Hobbies that Emily enjoys are hiking and art (painting, drawing) in her free time.

Fun fact, Emily is a twin and has younger twin siblings!
